ProVantage® 8.0 Released

ProVantage® 8.0 offers users new electronic business features, enhanced security, and powerful new rate management capabilities.

Kirkland, February 28, 2006:  ProVantage Software, Inc., a leading developer of Time & Billing, Firm Accounting, and Business Intelligence software solutions, today announced the release of ProVantage version 8.0. ProVantage 8.0 provides many new and advanced features enabling a firm to work more efficiently and effectively.
New Control features in ProVantage 8.0 include:

• Complete Bank Account Reconciliation of deposits, charges, and checks
• An optional capability to automatically import and reconcile downloaded bank transactions
• A Positive pay feature, which enables a firm to export a list of checks that its bank should honor, giving greater financial control to the firm
• Additional security features that improve data management and control

New Productivity Features in ProVantage 8.0 include:

• New date effective rate structures for better management of evolving billing relationships
• One-step ability to transfer unapplied payment amounts between matters for easier management of client overpayments
• An optional Lockbox solution which automates the processing of downloaded bank lockbox payments
• Nineteen new reports, and many additional selection options on the existing 200 ProVantage reports to improve data analysis
